In this week's Thursday throwback, we look back to Largs Thistle in the early 1970s.
This photo shows the likes of Crawford Boyd, who has been going strong in tennis and bowling over recent years, who went on to become an illustrious player with Queen of the South and Hearts FC, and also managed Largs Thistle for a spell.
Iain Baillie is another well kent face who later went on to join Kilbirnie Ladeside and was part of their Scottish Cup winning side in 1970.
It was also reported in the Largs and Millport News that Rangers FC had made enquiries about centre half Crawford Boyd and left back Iain Baillie.
The News reported in 1972: "The two local youngsters came under the microscope in recent games which led to Rangers chief scout Laurie Cumming contacting the club."
They feature in the above team photo which is from left: Wilson Dick (manager), Cook, Beattie, Murney, McIlwham, Young, Boyd, Baillie, and Gordon Law (trainer), Kneeling - Johnstone, McLellan, Stein, Shaw and Savage.
