One of best known football clubs in the world - Liverpool FC - have given 'hero status' to an award winning fish and chip shop in Largs!
The Fish Works won their latest award from the star studded English Premiership outfit and their design and marketing partner Vista - and on Monday evening at 89 minutes during the Liverpool v Everton derby the Largs business will appear on all the advertising boards at the famous Anfield stadium in front of millions of tv viewers all around the world.
The Largs seafront fish and chip shop,which is well known for using local produce, have won the small business of the match award from Liverpool FC and Vista Print.
If you are watching any football tonight have a look out for The Fish Works appearing on the advertising boards in Anfield for tonight’s match against Everton, they will be on in the 89th minute!
A spokesperson said: "The Fish Works was awarded A Small Business of the Match award and along with being on the advertising boards we will be being presented with a Liverpool FC Fish Works Shirt by a former player. The award celebrates small businesses and all they do in their community.
"We couldn’t be part of our community without all the continued support from yourselves."
