Football beaks have made a decision following the controversial finish to a West of Scotland Premier League clash between Largs Thistle and Beith at Barrfields last month.
The visitors clinched the match 3-1 in stoppage time when a flare up erupted leading to the match being abandonded.
A spoksperson for the West Region League confirmed to the News that the result would stand: "Following a full and proper investigation into the events surrounding the abandonment of the Largs Thistle v Beith Juniors match on 18th January, which included written, oral and video evidence, the Disciplinary Committee of the West of Scotland Football League made the following determination following the hearing on Monday evening:-
1. To warn both clubs as to their future conduct
2. The scoreline at the time of the abandonment of the Match, 3-1 to Beith Juniors, will stand."
