Thistle boss Stuart Davidson praised his side for their five star display against Arthurlie - and is hoping for another strong showing against Clydebank.

It is a significant step up in standard of opposition for Largs who have lost twice to Bankies this season in league and cup defeats.
Both Sean McLeod and Laurie McMaster came off against Arthurlie on Saturday as precautions but both should be available.
Defender Connor McGoldrick's return has been delayed but he should hopefully be back in contention soon.
Davidson said: "It is a different challenge for us as we take on Clydebank at Barrfields on Saturday.
"We know they are a dangerous team going forward and we have been caught out early against them already this season so we need to do our defensive jobs first and foremost in order to give us a platform to perform.
"But we have to take a lot of confidence from our display against Arthurlie - we won that game 5-0 for a reason due to our application and vigour.
"Back to back wins are very difficult to get in this league but that is our aim."
And the Thistle gaffer praised the fan following that turned out on Saturday to cheer on the side.
"It was great to see the good home support," Davidson said, "There is nothing better for the players than walking up the ramp at the end with the fans cheering and we want more of that this season."
With a number of key players returning to the squad, Davidson is delighted to see some strength in depth emerging at last.
He said: "Competition is great for the squad. Laurie played well and is building up his fitness, Sean had his hamstring niggle return but we took him off as a precaution, and we have Scott Adam coming off the bench and getting more game time so it is all good going forward."
The five goal victory over Arthurlie was timely in that it gave a much needed boost to Thistle's goal difference.
Davidson agreed: "The goal difference has not been sitting great - we have not scored enough goals this season and we have also lost a few.
"The most pleasing thing for me against Arthurlie was the manner of the performance - I thought the boys were at it from the first minute to the last.
"I feel as if the 5-0 win was exactly what the players deserved for their performance.
"Scott Lewis scored the first couple - he got across the front past and then got in at the back post for the header.
He was back in the team and showed the threat he possesses and I thought his workrate was terrific.
"Ramsay's goal was a cracker and again I think he got his reward for his hard work and the shift he put in.
"It was another great goal - and then Stuart Faulds and Jamie Martin netted to underline a great midfield performance.
"A lot of the goals came from good tempo, pressing, workrate and attitude.
"I stressed to the players to keep pushing - we didn't let Arthurlie get any patterns of play - we were always putting a foot in and spoiling it.
"That is what my teams are all about and it was great to see but there is no way we are going to get carried away.
"One week you can be flying and then the next week it is real battle - that is the nature of this league.
"I was delighted when the third goal went in as I knew Arthurlie had come back from two down against Darvel, but even when we were four up, I still wanted us to press on."
And Davidson was also heartened by his rally call for new blood in the committee with Ali McMaster taking over as acting chairman and Alex Anderson as match secretary.
He said: "There is still a lot of work to go with the club and with the team. Listening to the new committee they have lots of ideas and it is really pleasing for me from that side but of course we have to match that on the park as well and we did that on Saturday.
"Everything is very positive from where we were a few weeks ago and a lot of people have got involved and it is great to see and I thank them for coming in and helping."
