Largs MSP Kenneth Gibson lodged a motion in the Scottish Parliament, congratulating Largs Youth Theatre as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.
In the motion, Kenneth praised the high calibre of the affordable drama classes which have welcomed thousands of youngsters over the years.
He said: "That the Parliament congratulates Largs Youth Theatre as it celebrates its 20th anniversary; understands the group is hosting a ceilidh in February to mark the milestone with staff, students, past students and their families attending; recognises that the organisation provides affordable drama classes for those aged 2 to 18, and has welcomed thousands of young people through its doors over the two decades, performing in its annual shows in Largs and the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh; understands all the money raised at the event will be donated to Alara Little Legs crowdfunding appeal, and wishes the staff, students and supporters all the best on their 20th anniversary, and for the organisation's future endeavours."
