Police have charged a motorist with careless driving in Largs.
The matter was raised in the crime report presented to this month's community council meeting.
The incident happened in Moorburn Road on January 20.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Sergeant Mark Semple of Largs Police assured the Largs Community Council that significant resources were being given over to roads policing and responding to concerns raised by the public.
