Across Ayrshire & Arran 15,183 baby boxes have been delivered since the scheme’s inception – and more 250,560 throughout Scotland.
The Scottish Government introduced the Baby Box in 2017, entitling every newborn in Scotland to a box containing essential items intended to make sure that every child has the best possible start in life.
The estimated cost of items provided in the Baby Box is approximately £429.
Cunninghame North MSP Kenneth Gibson said: "I am delighted that this milestone has been reached.
