Largs & District Horticultural Society are excited to announce their first workshop of the season.
It will be held on March 15 at 7pm at St John’s TocH Hall, Bath Street, Largs.
The Flower Pot Men aka Ian Taylor and Ian Halbert will be demonstrating how to sow seed, grow vegetables eg potatoes, start off dahlias and much more followed by a question and answer session, refreshments and a raffle.
There will be selection of seeds and seed potatoes people can take away with them and a starter bag of seeds/seed potatoes for new gardeners.
Come along and learn how to “Grow Your Own” with Largs Horticultural Society.
The event is free and open to all.
Show schedules will be available for Largs Flower Show being held in Dunn Memorial Hall on August 26.
