BBC Scotland are hosting their political debate show from Greenock on Wednesday evening.
MSP Katy Clark is keen to see issues on the west coast of Scotland getting national coverage.
She said: "I'm glad to see that BBC Debate Night is going to be in Greenock on Wednesday at 6pm.
"This is a key opportunity for the local community to have their say on the big political issues Scotland faces.
