The century old tradition of the Crocodile Rock in Millport has been beaten in a Trip Advisor survey for the must see activity when coming to the Isle of Cumbrae.
Number one in the survey is Isle of Cumbrae Distillers, with one reviewer describing the experience as follows: "The gin tour is great, very informative and a lovely way to spend an hour or so."
Number two is Cathedral of the Isles. A reviewer described it as a 'Gorgeous little cathedral tucked away' and 'truly quaint and beautiful.'
And Crocodile Rock features in third place with one reviewer saying: "Every year on our visit to Millport, a must do is to get the family photo updated on the back of Crocodile Rock or if you are really daring you can hang from his mouth for an epic photo!"
Another popular activity was visiting The Wedge - the narrowest house - with one reviewer gushing: "We couldn't believe how small it was until we got up close to it. Its a must see if you're in Millport."
Other entries in the top 20 include Roberson Aquarium, The Glaidstane, Mapes of Millport and the Indian Rock.
