WE delve back down the decades to feature rarely-seen photos from different eras in this week's photo flashback.
In the winter of 1952, a fierce storm battered Largs Prom, which was broken up such was the ferocity of the high winds and gales.
We also dug up this rare photo of a theatre show from Fairlie Village Hall in the 1950s - can you help us identify any of the participants?
The picture of the 1960 Brisbane Queen, Susan Pausey, included maid of honour Sandra Harvey, left, and fellow maids Anne Hamilton, centre, and Marion Beaumont.
Largs Brownies' fashion show from the 1970s included appearances from Shona McArthur; Caroline Hennesy; Kay Kennedy; June Black; Susan Taggart; Carole McKinnon and Lesley Blair, while traditional country dancing was a big draw outside Nardini's in the summer of 1979.
Finally a Largs Youth Club disco proved popular in 1980 as teens danced to the sounds of Blondie, Elvis Costello, Wham and ABBA.
