Keep your eyes peeled this May as plenty of exotic ships are set to sail past Largs and Cumbrae. 

The cruise ships will sail up the Firth of Clyde before docking in Greenock, and eagle-eyed locals will have plenty to look forward to.

Here's just some of the vessels set to arrive...

REGAL PRINCESS

The Regal Princess is set to dock in Greenock on Friday May 5, Sunday May 14 and Friday May 26, and kicks off a great month of arrivals. 

The vessel is operated by Princess Cruises and can hold just over 3,500 passengers across her 330-metre length.

MSC PREZIOSA

The Preziosa is a slightly smaller vessel, operated by major company MSC Cruises. 

The ship will make port in Greenock on Thursday May 11, and can carry just over 1,500 passengers. 

The vessel will then undertake a ten night cruise of northern Europe.

MEIN SCHIFF 3

A regular visitor to the area, the vessel will dock twice at Greenock during the month on May 12 and 23. 

The ship is owned by TUI Cruises and was built at a cost of £360 million.

The cruise ship will undertake sailings around the UK for ten nights and 12 nights respectively.

JEWEL OF THE SEAS

GTS Jewel of the Seas is a Radiance-class cruise ship operated by Royal Caribbean.

The ship, completed in 2004, has room for 2,500 passengers and will arrive in Greenock on Monday May 29.
