Early pictures of Largs swimming pool from over 50 years ago feature in a Largs tourism guide from the 1970s.
The pool was opened in 1971 after many years of deliberations by the Town Council who looked at several sites in the town including Anderson Park.
The tourism guide is available for viewing in Largs Musuem which is open on Saturday mornings.
And this marvellous shot shown below includes the old Barrfields Theatre and swimming pool frontage which is now all consumed within the Vikingar building we know today.
