Award winning commentator Ally McCoist couldn't resist making a hilarious dig at one of the Spanish players during the Scotland v Spain match in his half-time match summary on tv.

Summarising on the ViaPlay coverage, the former Rangers and Scotland striker left the studio in a fit of giggles with his cheeky Millport quip.

Speaking at half-time Super Ally said: "That was magic, from Scotland's point of view, brilliant. We nicked a goal, could have added to the lead, could have lost a couple of goals, and everything was happening. There were a couple of penalty claims with people diving down in the box - what a 45 minutes of football that was.

"It was great pressure by Scotland to carve out this chance. It is all Andy Robertson putting severe pressure on their defender Porro, and to be fair, I don't think he will be going to Millport on his holidays this year, he's certainly not the crowd's favourite at all is he?

"He slips there much to the delight of the crowd and it is a lovely pick out to Scott McTominay for the goal."

Scotland are bidding to reach their second European Championships running after stunning Spain in a heroic triumph.

Scott McTominay crashed in the deflected opener after just seven minutes, sending Hampden Park into raptures.

Steve Clarke's team rode their luck at times, only for McTominay to add another to cement Scotland's first competitive victory over Spain for 39 years, and are now top of Group A - three points ahead of Spain, and five in front of Norway.
