Major roadworks on the A78 have ended after more than three weeks of disruption to motorists.
Works on the trunk road between the Hunterston and Southannan roundabouts started on March 10.
Two full weekend closures of the stretch of carriageway took place, with overnight closures on weekdays too.
A 15-mile diversion was put in place for motorists during the closure period, with all works ending at 6am this morning.
