A shuttle service will run from Glasgow to Largs as part of the PS Waverley’s summer timetable this year.

The iconic steamer will run its summer timetable from June 23 to August 25, with some special cruises lined up throughout the summer months.  

A coach will depart from Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station with Dodds Coach to make all connections with stops at Largs for the steamer.

A similar shuttle service will also run from Helensburgh, connecting with the Waverley at Kilcreggan, with advanced booking needed for this route.

The ship will undertake its regular cruises around scenic locations like Arran, Bute, the Cumbraes, Whiting Bay and the Holy Isle, with key stops throughout the year including Tighnabruaich.

A special 90th anniversary cruise for Friends of TS Queen Mary will take place on June 23, with a cruise up the Clyde to the tail of the bank.
