Largs Thistle's 2008s continued their push for silverware this season with a comprehensive 10-1 win over Kilwinning Football Academy (KFA) in the West of Scotland Youth Football League Cup.
Despite losing a goal first from a rebounded defensive clearance, Largs quickly showed their dominance, and put five past the visitors before the end of the half.
It was an impressive performance all round, with two goals from Alex Renton and one each by John Cole, Jayden McBlain, and Cameron Greenham.
The second half was no different, with Largs maintaining all the pressure, using their substitutes to keep the energy going right to the last minute.
Another two goals from John Cole - completing his first hat trick for the team - and goals from Jamie Ennis, Conn Martin and Joel McKeen finished off the game.
It was a comfortable scoreline in the end and keeps the Colts' quest for silverware in focus as the business end of the season nears.
And after recently seeing off Glenburn, the Thistle starlets have a Wallace Gemmel Shield cup final in the offing too.
