Largs is set to be hosting events to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III in May.

The matter was discussed during a recent town meeting - with various ideas suggested - and a new committee formed.
The group is being set up by Largs Community Council to take on the matter and discuss an action plan as to what will happen.
King Charles III's Coronation will take place on Saturday May 6 at Westminster Abbey in a major historical occasion - and how the town is going to celebrate the event was discussed at the recent meeting to gauge interest.
A suggestion was made from the floor by member of the public Frank Alexander to look at hosting an afternoon tea.
He said: "I would suggest you run an afternoon tea on the weekend of the coronation. It could serve a double purpose - of promoting the coronation, and promoting the work that the community council do."
Acting chairman Robbie Stevenson suggested setting up a committee to look at ideas for the Coronation weekend.
He said: "We did a marquee type event in the grass at Homemount House for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year with tea, cakes and sandwiches, and we also did a display at our community garden site in Gogoside Road.
"We could look at putting up another display with a crown to mark the Coronation."
