Flooding on the A78 in Fairlie is causing problems for motorists on Tuesday evening.
Both northbound and southbound approaches are affected as Traffic Scotland have indicated that the incident type is 'Hazard'
The area of road impacted is from A78/A760 Largs - B7048 W Kilbride.
A Traffic Scotland spokesperson said: "The A78 is currently restricted in both directions at Fairlie due to flooding.
"Road users are advised to use caution on approach."
Meanwhile the carriageway between Largs to Skelmorlie is fully open after an earlier accident. See here
