THE A78 north of Largs was closed for more than an hour on Tuesday evening after a crash.
Nobody was injured in the incident, which happened near St Phillans, south of the Meigle.
The A78 was closed between Largs and Skelmorlie from around 9.45pm until shortly before 11pm to allow for recovery of the vehicle.
Temporary traffic lights were put in place at Knock Castle due to barrier damage following the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.50pm on April 11 2023, officers received a report of a one vehicle crash on the A78 towards Largs.
“Arrangements were made for the vehicle to be recovered.”
