A FAMILY fun day at Douglas Park in Largs was a shining success thanks to glorious weather and free activities.
It was enjoyed by about 40 children and their families, and there was food, face painting and craft activities at the sold-out event.
Children enjoyed making paper crowns and colouring Easter bookmarks, and found out information about community events and offerings - and there was an Easter egg hunt for children aged 10 and under to enjoy too.
It was a gorgeous day and everyone had a great time.
The event was organised by Largs Church of the Nazarene and Douglas Park, and supported by the Largs Community Council Access to Food Group, and Morrisons Largs.
Pastor Steve Fountain of the Church of The Nazarene said: "We are so thankful to the many volunteers and donors who made it such a success.
"Because of their generosity, the event was offered at no cost to those who attended."
