It was a fantastic day for the opening of Halkshill Bowling Club on Saturday with an excellent turn out.
Halkshill President Robert Armstrong's wife Alison threw the first jack and bowl and declared the green open.
Vice President John McDonald then presented Alison with a splendid bouquet of flowers.
A total of 10 full rinks were then enjoyed a great day of bowling and festivities.
The club would like to thank all the Halkshill members and the kindred clubs for making Halkshill Open Day such a great success.
Guests came from Abercorn, Skelmorlie, Largs, Fairlie, Dalry, Kilbirnie and Kilwinning, and all helped to add to a very enjoyable day.
