Police have given an update on a rush hour crash between Largs and Skelmorlie.
Reports initially came in of two crashes on the stretch of the A78 along the coast.
However, police say they attended just one incident, and that no injuries were reported.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4:55pm on Wednesday April 19, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A78 between Skelmorlie and Largs.
"Recovery was arranged and one driver was issued with a fixed penalty notice.”
