Members of Largs Community Resilience Team met with specialist officers from the police for a night of training and learning.
Volunteers met with Inspector Robert Paterson and Constable Ian Kirk, who work in specialist search and mountain rescue.
The team learned how they might be able to support emergency services in the event of a local incident.
The Largs Community Resilience Team supports the North Coast area with issues including flooding and vaccine rollout, as well as supporting the Largs Viking Festival.
