Country music lovers in Largs are in for a treat this Sunday with a show celebrating two heroines of the genre.

A tribute show, 'The First Ladies of Country Music: The Music of Patsy Cline & Tammy Wynette' is at on April 30, starting at 7.30pm at Barrfields Theatre.

The show pays homage to both these world-renowned superstars of country music.

An evening of laughter, legendary stories, and the most iconic hits of all time including Crazy, Sweet Dreams, Walking After Midnight, I Fall To Pieces and the worldwide number one hit Stand By Your Man, which today is still the biggest selling single in country music history.

The big production features Sandy Kelly, the star of London’s West End production ‘Patsy’, and Ireland’s new queen of country music, recording star Niamh Lynn.

A Barrfields spokesperson said: "This is a show for all country music lovers. Come along and re-live the music and life's stories of two of the greatest female country music stars - legends, forever!"
