A LARGS group has organised musical entertainment for the four nursing homes in the town to celebrate the weekend of King Charles' coronation.
The Largs Dementia Friendly Group says music can play a powerful role in improving the lives of those living with illnesses such as dementia.
On Friday, May 5 vocalist Lawrence will be at the Burnlea Home at Broomfields between 2-3pm.
On Monday, May 8 Dee and Carole will be entertaining at Haylie House, Malky will be at Moorburn Manor, and the popular Scott Dunbar will be singing at Hutton Park Home on the seafront at the same time.
The Dementia Friendly group has previously organised musical entertainment for the local care homes at Christmas.
