THE Largs RNLI team has launched an appeal for new volunteers to join up.
The life-saving charity is looking for volunteers to join the town’s fund-raising branch, which raises money to help continue saving lives at sea.
Roles are also available in the shop at the town's lifeboat station on the prom which sells merchandise and provides information to visitors.
The charity is also looking for someone to fill a unique volunteering position as a water safety officer.
Duties to be fulfilled by the successful applicant for this role will include paying visits to schools and groups to teach youngsters about keeping safe on water.
For more information about all of these roles go to www.volunteering.rnli.org and search for Largs.
