The event saw the staging and judging of the annual teams competition, when the members created a display of different crafts on a theme.
This year's theme was a Coronation Tea Party.
It was judged by two 'crafters' from the village, Claire Philips from Hope Jacare Designs, and Frances Clark from The Sculpture Studio.
They had a difficult job but the winners of the Orr/Dailly Trophy were the team led by Isobel Weatherall, who also won the Anne Wilkinson Award for the best overall item in the show with her outstanding crown shaped floral display.
Other highlights from the meeting were the presentation of an Honorary Member's certificate to Nancy Chisholm one of the founder members of the Institute.
