A huge military ship was spotted floating on the Firth of Clyde in a strange phenomenon.
RFA Tideforce was seen raised out of the water from a distance - or so it looked!
The illusion is known as Fata Morgana and occurs when light distorts and makes objects look as if they are floating above the water.
Back in 2021, part of the Isle of Arran looked like it was floating above the water thanks to the same phenomenon.
