AN AWARD-WINNING independent distillery is planning to visit Largs this month - and to give out free samples of its product.
The GlenAllachie distillery will be at a gift shop in the town centre on Saturday, May 20.
Brand ambassador Leigh McLellan will be offering tastings of a selection of their drams and telling the story of the distillery, in Aberlour, which was sold by Chivas Brothers in 2017.
Now independently owned and led by industry veteran, Billy Walker, who has been working in the industry for 50 years, the distillery boasts several award-winning drams.
The company's products will be offered at a free in-store tasting at Geraldo's gift shop in Main Street on May 20 from 1-5pm.
