A pair of pedestrians in Largs town centre were 'clipped by a lorry' which then failed to stop on Wednesday.
Nobody was injured in the incident on Main Street, but police have launched an enquiry to find the driver involved.
A spokesperson said: "Around 1:50pm on Wednesday May 10, police received a report of two pedestrians being clipped by a lorry which failed to stop in Main Street, Largs.
"There were no reports of anyone physically injured. Enquiries are ongoing."
