Skelmorlie's Secret Bunker and museum celebrated King Charles III's coronation after securing funding to mark the special occasion.
Curator Frank Alexander was co-ordinator of the celebration on the day - and thanked the News for publicising the event.

He told the News: "We secured funding from the National Lottery Fund to run the event.
"We revamped our site with new exhibits to entertain and amuse and we were able to offer free food, soft drinks, crisps biscuits and the event was very well attended.

"The two prizes were WW2 aircraft identification, won by a local Skelmorlie resident, and the WW2 aircraft engine sounds a member of coast-watch in Irvine.
"A big thanks for the article in the newspaper, it was much appreciated for a successful coronation event at the Skelmorlie Secret Bunker museum."

Frank recently received the top Palladium voluntary award at a special presentation by the leader of North Ayrshire Council, Marie Burns.
The accolade was in recognition of some 20 years in restoring the derelict monitoring post and turning it into a valued heritage and museum site.
Skelmorlie is one of the very few restored Royal Observer Corps underground monitoring posts open to the public, after being mothballed when the Cold War ended in 1991.
