West Kilbride Main Street is set to close for three weeks for full resurfacing of the busy road.
The closure will be carried out in phases from its junction with Gateside Street to its junction with Halfway Street.
The closures will run from 9am on Monday, May 29 until 6pm on Sunday, June 18, or earlier if the scheme is ahead of schedule.
There will be a revocation of the one-way direction on Main Street between the Meadowfoot Road junction and the Main Street car park.
Signed diversion routes will be put in place.
