The paddle steamer Waverley is undertaking sea trials ahead of its opening days of the season later this month.
The iconic ship left Greenock on Tuesday for tests around the Tail of the Bank, where all onboard systems will be examined before berthing trials completed.
The opening days of the season, from Friday May 19 to Monday May 22, will see Waverley sailing from Glasgow, Greenock, Largs, Kilcreggan, Blairmore, Dunoon, Rothesay, Millport and Tighnabruaich.
On Tuesday May 23, the vessel then heads off to Oban and the Inner Hebrides.
She can be joined at Glasgow, Largs or Campbeltown and sailed all the way to Oban via West Loch Tarbert and the Sound of Jura.
Coaches will meet Waverley on her arrival at Oban for the return journey.
The ship's main Clyde summer season, with more destinations added to the timetable, including Ayr, Troon, Girvan and Brodick, runs from June 23 to August 27.
