A major road closure on a main route into Skelmorlie begins today for two weeks.
Station Road, which connects the village with the A78 trunk road, will be closed between 9am and 5pm each weekday from Monday, May 15 until Wednesday, May 31.
Signed diversion routes will be in place for the duration of the works, which will see the entire length of the road closed, between the A78 and the junction with Skelmorlie Castle Road/Longhill.
Outwith those hours, the road will be open as normal. Residents who live within the closure will be required to make alternative parking and access arrangements.
