A new festival celebrating rural and farming heritage in West Kilbride has been launched.
Wee Spud - West Kilbride's Tattie Fest, will run from May 26 to 29, and is organised by Timberbooks and Craft Town Scotland.
The festival, which will pay homage to the ‘Ayrshire Earlies’, is dedicate to the Wilson family, who are fourth generation potato farmers at Low Boydston Farm near West Kilbride.
A number of events will run including a movie screening, tattie printing, and a tattie ‘n’ gin supper.
More details can be found on the Wee Spud – West Kilbride’s Tattie Fest Facebook page.
