A superyacht has been observed sailing up the Clyde past Seamill on Wednesday morning.

PI is a 254 ft motor yacht, built in the Netherlands and delivered in 2019, and flies under the flag of the Cayman Islands.

The PI yacht owner is Howard Schultz and is said to be worth $120m. Schultz has served as CEO of Starbucks three times, recently departing the role in March.

He has a net worth of $4 billion dollars and is included in Forbes' Billionaires List for 2022

Her top speed is 18.4 knots and her power comes from two diesel engines.

She can accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms, with 18 crew members and was designed by Jarkko Jämsen.

The naval architecture was developed by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects, who has architected 98 other superyachts, and the interior of the yacht was designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design .

She is constructed with a teak deck, a steel hull, and aluminium superstructure.

Her top speed is 0.54 kn above the average.

PI is currently sailing under the Cayman Islands flag, the second most popular flag state for superyachts with a total of 1295 yachts registered.
