There will be cake and fanfare at this weekend’s Largs Prom parkrun as the event celebrates its first birthday.
Around 1,000 different runners have taken part in the Saturday morning event since it started, with participants from ages 6 to 78.
The fastest female time so far for the 5K route is Jennifer Wetton with a time of 18 minutes and 32 seconds, with David Mackintosh claiming the quickest male time of 16:05.
Anyone taking part in the run on Saturday, May 27 is being urged to wear a brightly coloured T-shirt to mark the occasion, and cake will also be on offer to runners.
