Submarines and aircraft carriers have been spotted by our Largs News Camera Club members over the past few days.

The submarine, accompanied by MOD craft, was captured sailing up the channel between Cumbrae and Bute.

The great snap was taken by photographer Francesca Pearce, and it was not the only military vessel on th Firth of Clyde this week.

The mammoth HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier was also spotted sailing in the area.

Camera club member Jack Boyle captured the Royal Navy's flagship vessel as it sailed past Largs.
