The ferry between Largs and Cumbrae has resumed after being disrupted by technical problems.
The breakdown earlier affected the MV Loch Shira, with a smaller ferry, MV Loch Riddon, operating the route on its own.
Cal Mac put out a statement at 9.20am on Wednesday.
A spokesperson said: "Due to a technical issue, a smaller vessel is operating this service with a reduced vehicle capacity.
"Customers should allow additional time for their journey as delays and queues are expected.
The Loch Shira has now resumed service on the route.
