A stunning timelapse has captured the HMS Queen Elizabeth's journey down the Firth of Clyde.
Staff on the Royal Navy aircraft carrier recorded its journey from Glenmallan, down Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, and out into open water.
The vessel, the Royal Navy's flagship, was in the area to refuel and rearm herself ahead of operations around the world this year.
The Royal Navy said: "With a heavy heart we say goodbye to Scotland after a short logistical stop.
"We’re looking forward to the second half of our training and preparing for our deployment. Farewell!"
