The MS Therapy Centre in West Kilbride has thanked members of the 201 Club for their continued support.

The centre, based in Manse Road, includes a hyperbaric chamber, which allows people living with multiple sclerosis to stabilise their condition by allowing them to inhale pure oxygen.

The chamber is designed to help people living with MS by increasing the flow of blood around the body wihtout increaesing the heartrate of the patient, and helps alleviate the symptoms.

MS is a choronic degenerative disease of the central nervous system and people diagnosed with the disease suffer from multiple disturbances in vision, speech, balance and co-ordination, as well as numbness and tremors. The hyperbaric chamber provides an extremely important service in the local community.
