A vacant shop building in Largs Main Street is set to re-open - in a very different guise.

The former Euronics electric shop, which has been serving the town for 40 years, closed recently, and the building had become available.

Jenny's Wardrobe, currently based at the corner of Nelson Street and Brisbane Road, have announced that they are moving into the premises.

No opening date has yet been confirmed.

Owner Jenny Docherty says business has been going very well since she opened the doors of her shop at the beginning of 2022.

She sells second-hand items for children, with all items checked to make sure they are good quality before being put on sale.

As well as clothes and toys, the Nelson Street shop also has an area for children to come and paint, colour and play.

There is also a mini library in the shop where books can be exchanged.

Jenny's Wardrobe launched as an online business in April 2021 before opening up at 39 Nelson Street in February last year, and then moving to 41 Nelson Street last summer.
