DRIVERS on the A78 near Largs are being warned to watch out for roadworks starting later this week.
Scottish Water utility works will be carried out on the trunk route at Main Road in Fairlie.
Amey, which is responsible for the management of road maintenance on the route, says portable traffic lights will be in place between 9am and 11pm from Wednesday, July 26 until Wednesday, August 2.
The work will affect the northbound and southbound carriageways.
Amey says it expects slight delays to traffic as a result of the work.
