The Sea Dragon Vikings are coming back to the Viking Festival this year from September 2-10.
A huge hit last year, the duration of the Viking ship sailings has been extended to include the full festival, and will include sailings from both Largs and the Isle of Cumbrae, after only coming on the opening weekend last year.
There will be short trips from Largs pier on both weekends (September 2-3, and 9-10).
Early bird online passes will be available to Viking Festival patrons from July 28. (To sign up to the patreon page and receive early bird passes, discounts and announcements, please click here). Passes will go on general release on August 1, however they will be limited.
A spokesperson for the Viking Festival said: "We are more than delighted to announce, the Sea Dragon Vikings are coming back this year for the full duration of the festival - September 2-10.
"They were such a hit last year, we pulled out all the stops to get them here again, and many thanks to all the organisations who helped fund this.
"Although this is a free event, we kindly ask for a donation to secure funds for future years."
The longboat will also be doing longer trips/sailings from The Isle of Cumbrae mid week and early bird, patron only tickets for those trips, will be available online from July 28.
In the event of bad weather, times and trips could be delayed or cancelled.
