Two bids were received by auctioneers for a former barber's shop in Largs town centre.
An online auction took place today from 10am until 3pm for the former The Barbers shop in Brisbane Road.
An opening bid of £40,000 had been lodged for the unit, which has a potential rental income of over £6,000 per year.
The final winning bid, subject to confirmation by the auctioneer, was £41,000.
Marketed by Future Property Auctions, the shop was described as “highly visible frontage on to busy main road - one street back from the main street in a mixed commercial and residential spot.
“Current layout comprises shop floor, private treatment room and WC.”
