Largs favourites The McDougalls are coming back to Barrfields Theatre this summer with a spectacular new stage show for all the family.

Space Adventure will see stars of stage and screen, Auntie Aggie and Max, fly past the planets on an intergalactic musical expedition.

From a sunny stop on Mercury, to a meeting with a Martian, there’s so much to do and see on this trip of a lifetime in the homemade rocket ship.

Max McDougall, one of the show’s stars alongside Ryan Moir, admitted coming back to Barrfields Theatre is always special.

He said: “We can’t wait to come back to Barrfields Theatre because Largs is our home town and we love playing here.

“We last came here at Christmas time with our Magic Castle show and we had so much fun, and now everyone can join in and have a great time on our Space Adventure.

“If you’ve never been to see The McDougalls before, the whole family will love it.”

Space Adventure will be packed with singalong songs such as Zoom Zoom Zoom We’re Going to the Moon, Aiken Drum and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

An interstellar day out for kids up to age nine and their families, children and even grown-ups are encouraged to come dressed as an alien or astronaut for the show.

Space Adventure comes to Barrfields on Friday August 11, with tickets costing £10 per person or £38 for a group of four.
