A public consultation is taking place next week on a proposed eco holiday park between Ardrossan and West Kilbride.
Bothwell Land and Development has lodged plans with North Ayrshire Council for the development on the site of the former Montfode Oil Storage Depot.
The proposed tourism and leisure development consists of 204 holiday homes, village hub, landscaping and existing access road improvements.
A public consultation event will take place on Monday, August 14 from 3pm to 7pm at the West Kilbride Village Hall in Arthur Street.
Anyone wishing to make comments on the proposal should do so on the day or in writing to the applicant's agent, no later than August 20.
Further information may be obtained from the applicant's agent by writing to Adam Sarapata, ID Partnership Group, 1 St Wilfred's Road, Corbridge, NE45 5DE, or emailing adam.sarapata@idpartnershipgroup.com.
Any comments made to the applicant are not representations to North Ayrshire Council. There will be an opportunity to make representations at a later stage, after the full planning application is submitted.
