Scottish ministers are looking to appoint a non-executive director to the board of David MacBrayne Ltd.
Officials are welcoming applications from those who have knowledge and understanding of the needs and aspirations of rural and island communities.
David MacBrayne is the parent company of CalMac Ferries, which runs services across the west of Scotland.
