A talented trio will bring classical music to the Cathedral of the Isles in Millport this Sunday.
The cathedral carries on its popular summer series of Sunday performances at 3pm, with donations welcome for the event on August 20.
This weekend's performers include Susanna Davies (soprano), Feargus Hetherington (violin and viola), and Jonathan Cohen (piano).
A spokesperson for the event said: "It will be a very special event which will include the first performance of a new song cycle, with words by Lydia Kirschenbaum and music by Tom David Wilson.
"In complete contrast, Cesar Franck's Violin Sonata, one of his best works, will receive a fine performance by Feargus and Jonathan. What a delightful afternoon."
Meanwhile, look out for a live performance from one of Scotland's most distinguished organists, David Hamilton, on August 27.
He will be celebrating the sesquicentenary (150 years) of Max Reger (1873-1916) by presenting some of his smaller works in the context of influential masterpieces by J S Bach and Franz Liszt. It is also a chance to hear exciting playing on the Cathedral's Frederick Holt's organ of 1867.
